Glow Plug Fuse Replacement

The 50a strip fuse is a real PITA when it goes. This isn't so necessary on the TDI's for starting the rig, but it is for the 1.6na and 1.6td rigs. The best thing to do is to buy a marine breaker.

One good example is the Blue Sea 7183 50a surface mount breaker

This photo didn't come out as well as I'd liked, but you get the idea. You remove the old fuse. Then run wires from each terminal to each terminal of the breaker. I would suggest using 6-8g wire.

If it pops just reset the breaker!
